UTXO consolidation: when fees are low, tidy your wallet
Why many small coins make future payments expensive, and how to merge them when the mempool is quiet.

Why it matters
Each coin (UTXO) you spend adds bytes to a transaction. A wallet full of tiny coins is cheap to hold but expensive to spend when fees are high.
How to do it
When the mempool is nearly empty and the lowest fees are clearing, send many small coins to a new address of your own in one transaction at a low fee. Check the live fee rates first.
The trade-off
Merging coins links them together on the blockchain, which reduces privacy. Don't merge coins from sources you want to keep separate.
